Yesterday I was browsing through some things online, and it hit me. I really want to improve with my art, as I think is a pretty common thing to want for artists here on dA and elsewhere. So I decided that one of my problems is that I get inspired, get an idea and then don't work out the kinks with it as much as I should. I don't get really sastisfied with my sketch first, I usually get too impaitent or worse yet, I don't even finish the piece because of lack of motivation, which I think would be fixed if I really worked on the sketch more.

So here's the challenge.

I challenge all of you (as well as myself) to take an old idea or an old piece that you've done and redo it completly. I mean really strip it down and redo it. This is for digital painters, traditional artists, dollers, pixel artists, photographers, everyone! I think I will redo my Medusa piece, but that may be subject to change. If I get any interest in this, I'll make a little feature for anyone/everyone who participates. Let's see what we can do when we really try guys!

Wow, that was a long break. It seemed like forever being away from you guys! For the majority of the time that I was away, I didn't have access to my computer at all so not a lot got done, but I do have a few WIPs that I might upload shortly.

In news concerning my life as of lately, I am entering my 31st week of pregnancy (that's month 8 ) and everything seems to be going well. God has provided in amazing ways for my husband and myself and we are doing good. Other than that, there's not too much to say.

Hello guys, just wanted to let you all know that I am moving across the country so not going to be on at all for a while, dunno how long it will take to get everything set up but didn't want you guys to think I'd forgotten about you guys!

Ok! So I got my computer back from HP *hugs it*! Unfortunatly, I lost everything on my harddrive; all of my unfinished works, inspiriational stock photos, doll bases, everything.
But, oh well. Photoshop was the first thing to get put back onto my computer and I started a piece to mess around on but it's sort of ambitious for a first thing after coming back from what seems like an awfully long break from painting. So, I will probably look into the wonderful gallery from *color-me-club and start with a few colorings of other peoples' works. Oh and I have to say to all the people I watch, I'm soooooooo sorry that I am going to be a bad watcher and delete all the deviations currently in my inbox but I have over 500 and I don't even watch that many people! I swear I will go gallery browsing to make it up to you guys....eventually

In other, and really exciting news to me....I'm pregnant! Yep, hubby and I are going to have our first child in a little over half a year We are also working on getting to the East Coast, so things are a little stressful with that. So, even though I'm back and able to art it up, I may not be as active as I was, I have days where I get soooo tired.

I'm sorry about that guys! I've been having computer issues and finally had to just ship it off to HP, luckily it is under warranty so everything should be taken care of, but there's still the whole it's gotta be shipped from California to Indiana then be worked on, then finally shipped back. Also, even when I do get my computer back, Hubby and I are going to be moving shortly thereafter. So, I will talk to you guys soon but that "soon" may unfortunately be in a month or two =/
